What types of services are covered? With the Delta Dental Patient Direct™ program, you save on the majority of dental services and procedures – including routine cleanings, fillings, caps, X-rays – even whitening, cosmetic and corrective jaw surgery, and orthodontics (braces). Our List of Reduced Fees shows the reduced prices you pay for dental services and procedures included in the program.
How does it work? We accept Visa, Mastercard and bank drafts. Once you enroll and pay your annual fee (there is a 24-hour wait to process credit cards and a 3-5 day wait for bank drafts), you receive a Delta Dental Patient Direct™ membership card. Simply present this card to any participating dentist in our statewide network, and they will automatically give you our special rates for dental services. Since Delta Dental Patient Direct™ is not insurance, there is no deductible, and no claims to file. DDOK will provide a full refund with no-questions asked for up to 90 days.
Is there a waiting period? There is no waiting period. From the time you receive your membership card, you can start saving immediately.
How much can I expect to save? Since all dentists in the network promise to charge a set rate for all their procedures, you can save up to 75% or more on some procedures. Typical savings on the most common procedures can range from 10% to 30%.
